About the designer.
I'm a graphic designer operating in the San Francisco Bay Area. My main focus is creating layouts that are intuitive and engaging, while also trying out techniques that are experimental and unique. I like to put a big focus on color in my designs and seeing how different combinations can engage viewers differently. I believe that design nowadays often follows a pattern and looks alike, and I plan to break that mold with some of the choices and philosophies that I bring to my projects.
I hold degrees in both visual communication design as well as Japanese, and I've enjoyed working on projects that made use of both my fields of study. I cherish the opportunity to blend my knowledge of Japanese language and culture into my future design work.
In my free time I like to work on models and props, make music, and see whatever's in theaters at the moment. My hobbies often help me find inspiration for my projects.
